Infinite Campus (Gradebook and Attendance)

Copy Entire Groups and Assignments: How to use Lesson Plan Copier to copy entire setup of groups and assignments from one class section to another. Will only work if the target class section has no groups defined. (5 minutes)

Copy Selected Assignments: How to use Lesson Planner to copy specific assignments from one class to another. For this it is required that groups (categories) are already created in the source and destination classes. (5 minutes)

Special Scores, Comments and Bulk Fill of Scores: How to exempt scores form grading for a specific students and mark sores with special markings that WILL appear on Parent Portal and in Student Summaries (progress reports). Special comments/scores include late work, missing work, cheated, exempt, incomplete or dropped. It also allows for custom comments to be associated with a student score. Also included is bulk filling of scores and bulk score replacement. (6 minutes)

Reports: The 4 main reports are Student Summary (student progress reports), Blank Spreadsheet, Attendance Register (handy for tracking absence and tardies) and Attendance Summary (numerical summary of absence and tardies. Two other reports of interest are Roster Label and Teacher Schedule. All reports are produces as PDF files for preview and printing. (8 minutes)

Dropped Students: Seeing the grades for dropped students so that you can report their grade at transfer time to another teacher or school. (2 minutes)

Anonymous Grades: How to print off a spreadsheet of all student grades WITHOUT the student names appearing. Sometimes we want to do this so that we can tape the spreadsheet to the wall so all students can see their grade only. (2 minutes)

Word Documents and PowerPoint Files: When you click on these links you may be asked if you prefer to open them or to save them to your drive. They should work just fine if you open them. If they are distorted when you open them, choose to save them and then open using MS Word or PowerPoint.

HTML/Flash: Viewed via web browser. No viewer or additional software necessary. Cross platform. Requires Macromedia Flash PlugIn which is normally installed by default. You may press F11 to view in full screen. WARNINGS:There is no way to fast forward or rewind in this view.

WMV: Windows Media Video is the current Microsoft streaming file format. WMV files can be streamed or played locally from the hard disk. You may be asked, “Do you want to play file in Internet Explorer?” I suggest you answer NO. If the file launches in Windows Media Player, you may press Alt-Enter to toggle to and from full screen view. You may pause, fast forward and replay in this view. WARNINGS: Some of the preview screens don't show in this format.
