Monday, May 5: Spanish 2 

1.  Review Rey Leon--Complete Activity with Rafiki's speech to Simba.

 

2.  Complete Lesson 8 Rey Leon.

 

3.  Read objectives Capítulo 7 on pp. 190-191.

 

4.  Introduce vocabulary on pp. 192-193--Listen and repeat.

 

5.  Complete Activities 1, 2, 3 p. 194 (orally--large group).

 

6.  Review the use of the future--regular and irregular.  Then, introduce the forms of the conditional--discuss how this changes meaning.

 

Tuesday, May 6: Spanish 2

1.  Review the vocabulary on pp. 192-193--Gloss on WS: 7 Vocabulary.

 

2.  Review Activities 1, 2, 3 pp. 194 (orally--large group).

 

3. Read p. 200 "Modo potencial o condicional de verbos regulares--Expressing Conditions".

 

4. Complete Activities 13, 14, 15, 16 pp. 201-202.

 

5.  In workbook, complete p. 73-74 (Vocabulary) and pp. 77-78 (Conditional).

 

6.  Watch and discuss "El Rey León".

 

Wednesday, May 7:  Late Start Schedule @ WRHS. Spanish 2

1.  Review the vocabulary on WS: 7 Vocabulary with partner--¿Cómo se dice...?

 

2.  Complete Activities 1, 2, 3 p. 194 (on paper).

 

3. Re-read p. 200 "Modo potencial o condicional de verbos regulares--Expressing Conditions".

 

4. Complete Activities 13, 14, 15, 16 pp. 201-202 (on paper).

 

5. With a partner, read aloud pp. 210-211 "El aeropuerto que se llama "El Alto"". 

 

6.  Complete "Después de leer" A, B p. 211 on paper.

 

Thursday, May 8: Spanish 2

1.  Review the vocabulary on pp. 192-193 with questions like Act. 1, 2, 3 p. 194.

 

2.  Review the conditional forms and how using the conditional form translates to English.

 

3.  Complete WS: El Condicional #1.  Complete, then correct and discuss.

 

4. Re-read pp. 210-211 "El aeropuerto que se llama "El Alto"".  Call on individual students to read.

 

5. Complete "Después de leer" A, B p. 211 on paper.  Discuss.

 

6.  Watch and discuss "El Rey León".

 

 

Friday, May 9: Spanish 2  Seniors Last Day of Classes @ WRHS.

1.  Review the forms of the conditional verbs by reviewing the WS: El Condicional #1.

 

2.  Review "Después de leer" A, B p. 211 discussing the information in the reading.

 

3.  Introduce the vocabulary Chapter 7 B pp. 196-197.  Listen and repeat--gloss on list 7 vocabulary.  (We may have done this the other day.)  Read the paragraphs on p. 197.

 

4. Complete Activities 7, 8, 9 pp. 198-199 of the textbook. Also, complete Activity 7 p. H8 (in the back of the book).  (Orally--large group to explain directions and model.  Then, with a partner).

 

5.  Complete WB pp. 75-76 D, E, F, G.  Model and discuss each section.

 

6.  Watch and discuss "El Rey León" completing Activities.
