  2. Quizzes – worth 15% of your grade.  Quizzes will be given periodically.

Classroom Policies:

Tardies:  Please be ready to go when the bell rings.  Stay in your seat until the bell rings.  Too many tardies will result in a 3 hour detention being assigned.  Please see the school policy in the student handbook for further information on tardies.

Materials:  Bring your textbook, notebook, pencil or pen, paper and any other required and appropriate materials daily.

Communication:  Please give a respectful response and carry out reasonable requests.  When listening or speaking with others, please be considerate and respectful of their opinions.

Assignments:  These are due at the beginning of the class period unless otherwise instructed.  If an assignment is not turned in when called for, it is considered late…even if it is turned in later in the hour.  Late assignments count for no credit.  See the student handbook for information on make-up work and extended absences.

Make-up/Retake Policy:

All students will complete and hand in homework/projects on time.  Late work is not allowed unless it falls under the student handbook guidelines.  See the student handbook for further information.

Since this is a college preparatory/elective class, retakes are not given in this class.
