Human Resource Technology· Child Care- The Child Care program is designed to provide training in the processes and principles of growth and development of children from infancy through six years of age. Emphasis will be placed on social, emotional, physical, intellectual, motor development, and support services relating to children. Upon completion of the program the students should have opportunities for employment in the following areas: day care centers, state institutions, teacher aides, day care home providers, etc. 540 Hours part-time. 12, Adult. · Cooperative Occupational Training- The Cooperative Occupational Training program provides the opportunities for students to receive related occupational instruction in, school and on the job through part-time employment in an almost endless number of occupations. Students can enroll for almost any , kind of work that they are capable of performing. The class and job are placed jointly by the school, the student, and the employer so that each contributes to the student's successful entry into the world of work. 810 Hours. 12. · Food Service- The Food Service program includes quantity and quality food production, sanitation, safety, use and care of equipment, service, purchasing, menu planning, and entry-level supervision/management, with practical on-the-job training in a restaurant/kitchen. 1080 Hours. 11, 12, Adult. · Horticulture- The Horticulture program will include the following subjects: indoor and outdoor plant materials, greenhouse management and growing, turf and grounds management, nursery-garden center management, landscape design, plant propagation, insects, diseases, soils and fertilizers. 1080 Hours. 11, 12, Adult. · Occupational Exploration- The Occupational Exploration program is designed to provide an opportunity for students with special needs to explore a variety of occupational skills to help determine a level and type of vocational training that would be suitable for the individual. 270 Hours. 16 years or older. |
